Beginners
For those who have never touched a board.
We start on land, walking you through the basics of the pop up, paddle and proper stance, before you even touch the water. From there, we take you to the right beginner breaks, where smaller waves let you build reps and confidence without being overwhelmed.
In the water, your instructor stands out alongside you, pushing you onto waves and calling out each action as it’s needed. Sessions are supported by video analysis and theory, so you know exactly what to work on next.
intermediate
For those confident catching their own waves.
At this stage, it’s about refining what you already know. Your instructor works with you across three key areas — reading the waves, positioning yourself in the right spot, and how you ride once you’re up. Small adjustments here make the biggest difference, turning waves you can catch into waves you can actually surf well.
Tailored video sessions become more pivotal at this level, giving you clear footage of what’s working and what needs improvement.
advanced
For those looking to master each wave.
At this level, you’re taken out to the more challenging breaks around Arugam Bay, where bigger and faster waves demand more from your surfing. Your instructor focuses on the details that separate good surfers from great ones — mastering cutbacks and turns, refined foot movement and footwork. It’s less about catching the wave now, and everything about what you do with it.
We utilise drone footage to give a ride by perspective as you carve through the wave.
