Reaching us is part of the adventure! The most convenient way to start your journey to surf Sri Lanka is by private car or van from Colombo. Upon your arrival at the airport, a dedicated driver will meet you and provide a comfortable, air-conditioned ride directly to the camp.
The drive typically takes between 6 and 7 hours, offering a scenic cross-section of the island from the west to the east coast. Along the way, you’ll witness beautiful mountains, lush tea plantations, and rural villages. As your unofficial Arugam Bay surf guide, we highly recommend the route through Udawalawe National Park, where you might even spot a wild elephant right by the roadside. When your stay is over, we’ll happily arrange your return ride to the airport for a stress-free departure.
